Ancient ruins can hide some of the deepest, darkest secrets around.
Dark secrets can lead to strange changes in people and their surroundings.
Changes in people and surroundings can lead to abnormalities forming in children.
Children with abnormalities are special; based upon how they are raised, they can be good or evil.
Good represents life.
Evil represents death.
With magic now spreading like an infectious disease, it's hard telling what may happen to the world...
To the people in it.
Especially when the dwellers of the dark appear, ready to harvest fresh souls.
They feed off the living, getting ready for the day they rule.
The priests try to save the souls, but in reality, they are just adding to the problem.
For some reason, their rituals just intensify the power of the darkness.
When corruption spreads; psychics begin to appear, plagued by wary spirits and demons galore.
To some they are crazy. To others, saviors.
In the midst of all the activity are the normals; the people just trying to live a normal life.
Though none want to admit it, something will happen.
Something that looms over their heads like nothing before.
